Key Responsibilities:

Purchase order Management: Create, issue and manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with department policies and guidelines.

Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost-effective, on time procurement solutions without compromising quality. Continuously evaluate cost-saving opportunities and implement best practices for procurement efficiency.
Discrepant Non-Inventory Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve problem receipts.
New Supplier Setup: Company POC instigating new supplier setup process and processing to final completion.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality control, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement activities with production needs and overall business objectives.
Reporting: Provide reports to internal customers as required Generating department KPIs.
Dealing with SAP queries for Purchasing related topics
Managing Low Level Contracts (below £25K pa)
Providing Out of Hours support on a rotational basis
Manage Invoice related queries

Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or similar preferred.
- Working towards CIPS or CPIM qualification desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
